This is off topic, but as you all are counted as my friends, I wanted to
warn you about a mistake I made that relates to computers.
The computer I paid for in August and didn't get until October and which
never worked to get online reliably despite being returned for service,
still doesn't work. I have left numerous messages and was just told by a
person at the company that they will not refund my money and just before
hanging up on me James, from the company said "I suggest you get a lawyer
then, and have a good day!"

Don't buy anything from E-PC (Electronic Parts Company) Parts supposedly the
makers of the "BuiltSmart" line of computers. They targeted me through my
father who works for a community college. They sent him an email that
seemed to be from the college saying that community college employees were
eligible for special deals on new computers at half MSRP. Don't believe
their emails.

I am the victim of a fraudulent company that refuses to make things right.
Don't fall for it yourself.

I'll be calling the BBB. The state of California has no recourse other than
small claims court. The webpage in the original email (surprise surprise)
is offline now, but their phone number is 1-888-399-3744. In case they use
other means to defraud people, maybe the phone number will help you identify
them for who they are.

Thanks,

Kathie
