I think you will need to go into each mail account and set each one
individually to use your new settings (Tools>Email Accounts>View or Change
etc etc then it's in "More Settings"). The mail accounts don't
automatically recognise the overall Outlook connections.

Today I changed to High Speed instead of regular dial-up connection. I
changed the mail settings in Outlook to reflect no dial-up - but each time
I close Outlook it will only open in dial-up mode. Here is what I have:
Tools/Option/Mail setup tab Send/Receive Edit Account
Properties
(button), then I tick "Connect using Lan" but it defaults each time I
re-open Outlook to "Connect using my phone line". When I try to
send/receive email it starts to dial up on my old modem but of course if
cannot. Thank you - Valerie http://www.nt.net
