Why not show us the actual formula you are using instead of that sample? If
it's not working, there's an error in your formula, so copy that and paste
it in an email so we can see where the error is.
And, what do you mean "it's not working"? What's happening? Nothing? An
error? You're getting the wrong result?

I found this example that shows exactly what I want to do but when I
plug things in it won't work.
Example:
IF(A1="10X12",120,IF(A1="8x8",64,IF(A1="6x6",36)))
I am using cell A13, with the following information:
If it says hpdn write Kelly Hansen
If it says hpds write Dean Anderson
If it says omd write Charles Martinez
Why wont it work?
