I need to give the user an option of selection a blank in a validation list please in Excel 2000. Not working properly so far. In Allow, I selected "List." In Data Validation, I unchecked "Ignore Blank." In Source, I entered <sp>, C, O, P, R, S. In-cell dropdown is remains checked. "Apply these changes to all other cells with same settings" is checked. Does not work. Does anyone see the problem please? It only offers C, O, P, R, S as valid entries, and I need for blank to be one of them. Thank you.
