===========================
Hi List
I would like to know what is required to put a msaccess database I have
created(Office
2k) on to a CD so that I can give it to my friends, (who do not have
access)
===========================
I presume that the question is not so much about either putting it on CD
or about giving it away, as it is about how people without Access can
(fully) access Access.
If people without Access could (fully) access Access, there would be no
need for Access.
What you can do is to write computer software that accesses the Access
to provide a front end for people. This would let them access the Access
through your system, but ONLY to the extent that your system provided
access to the Access. It would not provide "full" access to the Access
because such "full" access actually requires Access (if it didn't there
would be no need for Access).
Another option is to export the data out of Access into other formats
which they have access to
-- Excel
-- Word
-- Paper
