Go into the Footer on page three and on the header/footer toolbar, make sure
"Same as Previous" is NOT pushed in...then click on the Format Page Number
button and in there, set it to start on 1
Then go to the footers on pages 1 and 2, and remove the page numbers.

We have this word problem when using Word 2002 :
We want to number pages after the title page (there are 2 pages), but it
numbers from page 1 we want it to skip our title page and start at page 3
and start numbering with 1, 2 etc, suggestions? How can we force it to
number the pages starting at Page 3 but number it page 1?
And then sometimes it even numbers it starting at page 4 even though there
are only 2 pages of title page... talk about strange!!
