I have set up a spreadsheet to take 5 columns, the Column "A" last name,
Column "B" first name, Column "C" birth date, Column "D" death date, and
Column "E" is Relationship. I do this in Excel 2000. I wrote a simply macro
to search Column "A" and find a name.

Since I send this to Excel CE (this is a hand held device using Windows
CE), I can take with me on searching for lost cemeteries. Whatever stones I
find, I enter the names, and dates. The macro works on the PDA side.

But for some reason, when I copy from Excel CE back to Excel 2000, I get
the data (the data is not changed or lost during transfer), but no macros.
Macros are lost. So then I need to rewrite the macro in send the PDA a new
fresh sheet that way.

Question: In Excel 2000, does anyone know of anything to "preserve macros"
so when I send the sheet to the PDA it is forcibly preserved? Then when I
import the sheet back into the PC, the macros are not missing?

Now I admit I don't know if the problem actually is on the PC side or the
PDA side. CE users tell me it is Excel 2000's fault. If so, how do I fix that?

In my mind the problem is on the PDA side, In Casio's mind (of course), the
problem is in the PC Excel side. Any guidance would be appreciated- I have
been pulling my hair out a little over this.

Thank you.

Robert
