Hi Richard, I have both MS Access 2003 and 2007. In both of these versions, the DB's objects (i.e., tables, queries, etc) are all listed on the LHS and separated by the object type name. Not knowing what you are seeing in 2007, in mine, on the LHS is a panel entitled "Navigation Pane" that can be expanded and collapsed. When collapsed the title is vertically aligned. It can be expaned by clicking the ">>" at the top of the pane. When expaned the various objects are grouped by "Tables", "Queries", etc. If you click on the down-arrow next to the "<<" in the navigation pane, there are two subheadings: "Navigate To Category" and "Filter By Group". You can control what shows up in the navigation pane by toggling the options subordinate to the subheadings. I hope this helps. In previous versions there was a tab down the LHS that allowed me to have all of my queries and tables separate & view them by selecting the relevant one - quite easy to use. However it seems that this has now gone in 07.? Is there any way of viewing it the same as I used to in older versions of Access?
