ROFL....that looks like MY domain name....sure wish I knew then what I
know now...I would NEVER have chosen the domain name I am now stuck with
(and yes I know I could change it and add redirects to all my pages, but
I am just TOO LAZY)
=========================

There is another option.

My favorite registrar, NameCheap, http://www.NameCheap.com, not only
is the CHEAPEST registrar, it is also one of the most full featured.

It offers FREE URL and EMAIL forwarding.

For example, my "short" domain name (JSH.info) currently "forwards" to
JamesSHuggins.com

The "forwarding" keeps or preserves all the stuff after the domain.

So, if you enter

   http://jsh.info/webmastering
     or
   http://jsh.info/h/web1/webmastering.htm

That is the SAME as entering

   http://www.JamesSHuggins.com/webmastering
     or
   http://www.JamesSHuggins.com/h/web1/webmastering.htm

Also, if you email

   ANYTHING @jsh.info

they forward it to

   JHuggins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(This is nice because when people misspell my domain name and
email me at JamesHuggins.com instead of JamesSHuggins.com
I still get the mail!)

And, all that URL and email forwarding is FREE.

So if you DO decide to change, just move your domain registration to NameCheap,
set the forwarding and all your old links all around the world
will forward to the NEW domain.

VOILA!

PS: Some people noted that the reference to 63 characters only includes
the stuff before the .com

http://www.MyVeryLongDomainNameUsesAllSixtyTHREEPossibleCharacterPositions.com

and that the total length is 67 characters including the .com

Yep. I noticed that too
