i seem to remember fixing this by checking the file association for .html
files (using Windows Explorer). It is worth a try - associate .html with
internet explorer.

Hello all,
I'm assuming this is a new problem for a friend of mine...any link in the
body of an email message just does nothing. I've read (via several Google
searches) to make sure IE is the default browser...which it is. I've also
read that if IE7 has been installed that could be causing the problem and
uninstalling it is the fix.
Before I get back to him...are there any other reasons for this problem?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Selene
