Hi Marisa,
There are a couple of techniques you can use. If you are just looping
slides, check out TAJ's tutorial:
http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpointlooping.htm

If you need to have music play during the beginning loop, check out this
process from Glenna Shaw:

Subject: [mso] Help with powerpoint

Hello!

I have a question regarding animation in power point.......

My presentation is about 40 slides long. The first 5 slides have peoples
names on them that are receiving awards. What I have done is looped the
first 5 slides to change every 6 seconds which will be on as people enter
the room. What is happening is that I have to press escape to exit out of
the loop. But what happens when I press exscape I exit out of the
presentation and I get back to the view all slides page not the start slide
(slide # 6) of my presentation. Is there anyway to just move to slide #6
instead of exiting?

Thanks for your help
