Hi Ruth
Tried your suggestion to no avail. Every time a different user opens any 
of the Office programs, the Windows Installer starts. One can cancel it 
or  not. In both cases, the application  opens (word or whatever) and 
the asks the user if they are "so and so" and suggests a letter to be  
recognized by - usually the first letter of the uses name.
Somebody said group policy on the network will do the trick, but I 
haven't any idea how to set up a group policy for that purpose.
