Hi Bill...no need to send your problem three times...people will reply IF
they know the answer and WHEN they get a chance :-)

Anyway, I'm not sure if this is your problem or not, but Word uses the email
client you have set as default in Internet Explorer when it sends
email....so, go into Internet Explorer and go to the Tools menu and choose
Internet Options...in there, click on the Programs tab and look to see which
email program is set as your default...if it's Outlook or Exchange, then
that is why Word is trying to use that...change it to the email program you
use. If it's already set to that email program, then maybe that email
program is not compatible with Office?

If it just started Saturday, perhaps you switched to a new version of the
email program you are using? Or perhaps you did some kind of Microsoft
update that made the decision to make Outlook your default in IE again?

Remember, you can always go into your email program and attach the file from
there. Just add the attachment and browse to the location where you saved
the Word doc.

Good luck.

Subject: [mso] Fw: Microsoft Exchange

I have tried to figure out my problem and it seems that when I send it mail
as an attachment I now get a window in the middle of my screen asking for my
profile. In the space for the profile is the word "Outlook". I don't use
outlook and don't have a profile. Any suggestions on how to fix my problem.
We have done a complete re-install of XP Office and it is most annoying.
This just started on Saturday...Thx...Bill
