You can also click in cell A2 and then click window > freeze panes and it
will freeze only the top row.

1. Cursor to the top of excel doc on the right
2. move mouse up and down until it becomes a 2 headed arrow
3.click and hold and drag down till the line you want to freeze is visible.
4. let go
5. save excel form.

Grrrrr...I asked this somewhere (probably here) before, but now can't find
it and can't remember. I rarely do this...
So what's the trick again? I want to freeze JUST the top row of a sheet in
Excel 2003. But when I click Windows > Freeze Panes...I get a cross hair in
the middle of my screen and NOT just freezing the top/selected row that I
want.
There was some (STUPID) trick to this.
Appreciate it if someone would enlighten me about what I have to do/select
to get this right.
