Org Subject: [mso] File recovery -Word2000 Word auto-saves documents to a recovery file. The recovery file should be opened as a file noted as (recoverd) automatically when Word is restarted. Some of these recovery files seem to be in whatever folder that is the current 'file save' folder. Sometimes on restart after a crititcal error shutdown, word will restart the recovered file and somtimes it does not. How can I force a recovery of a file found outside of Word restart process? I. E. Point to the file and ask for a recovery. The normal open function displays garbage. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu at the top.
