hi
have set up a template which puts the numbers
1
1.1
1.1.1
1.1.1.1
ets can sequentially increments within the chapter
i have several chapters and when i join the chapter together i would like
the leading 1 to reflect the chapter i.e. 3.1 3.2 3.2.1. 3.2.2. etc and the
same for chapter 4 etc
can anyone advise how i might do that
