Make the Stacked Column, using all four series. Then click on the
column

for the series you want to be a line, so it is selected (has little
boxes on

it) ... With that series selected, go to the Chart menu and choose Chart

Type and you can assign the Line type to just that series.

Subject: [mso] Excel Charts - Combine

Greetings!

I'm trying to create a new Excel chart that uses the standard Stacked

Column chart type for 2 of my 3 series and a standard Line type for the

3rd series. The closest I've found is the custom Line - Column chart

type. This would work OK, but I'd really prefer a Stacked Column plus a

line.

Doable?

TJ
