Like, I said, it's counting the non-Blank cells AND any items you put inside
the parentheses separated by commas
COUNTA(1,2,3) would give you 3
COUNTA(fred,bill,mary) would give you 3
COUNTA(A1:A7,2) would give you a count of all the cells in A1:A7 that had
something in them PLUS any other items you include in the parentheses,
separated by commas

understand. But I don't understand what the 2 is for? It
adds one to the total if I put 2 in the formula. )Or 2453.
Or it adds one for pretty much anything I put in the formula
after comma. So what would you use this for?
