Hi John Either select the column and then Data/Validation and work through the dialogs. Or select the first cell, Data/Validation and work through the dialogs, Check that the dollar signs are in the right place and drag (or copy of ctrl-D) the cell down the column. With the second issue, select the cell and Data/Validation then go through the dialogs. The source list for the cell must either be on the same worksheet, or be a named range.
