Sorry, but you're apparently doing something wrong.=20
If have created a template and you have the CREATEDATE field inserted =
into
the template and you save it...and then you create a new letter by =
clicking
File/New, choosing your template and writing a new letter and saving =
it...it
works. The template uses the field for the date the NEW document is
created. Once saved, it's set.=20

When I read my earlier email I realised I'd sent the wrong field data - =
it
was CREATEDATE I had used. AND I'm using templates - several of them, =
all
with the same problem. So why isn't it showing the createdate when I =
reopen
the files later?
Sorry to harp on about this but it's really annoying me!
