Sorry, but you're apparently doing something wrong.=20 If have created a template and you have the CREATEDATE field inserted = into the template and you save it...and then you create a new letter by = clicking File/New, choosing your template and writing a new letter and saving = it...it works. The template uses the field for the date the NEW document is created.
