[mso] Clipboard Icon in the way.

Hello Group,
I am using MS Word 2002

When I have text in the clipboard a clipboard icon appears and gets in the way. 
 How can I remove this icon?
It is my understanding that Firefox web browser is more secure than MS 
Explorer.  Please go to interesting picture page created by my amateur
