Outlook could just as easily have been built to issue a message kill immediately after downloading it but this would be even slower that what you're doing now. Have you ever experimented with the header preview options in Outlook so that you may grab headers and issue a server delete before getting the full message load? This way you could spend a little more personal time pre-sorting the mail before attempting to get the message bodies. ================== Haven't tried that. My spam filter (Cloudmark/Spamnet) works on mail after download. And the complex Outlook rules I have apply categories and colors at download so sorting is pretty easy once downloaded.
