When I uninstalled Dell's trial McAfee and installed NAV, I discovered that McA had not entirely gone away (even after I followed the company's extensive uninstall instructions). When I open Outlook 2003 (on WinXPPro), I get: >>The add-in "c:\progra~\mcafee.com\vso\outscan.dll" could not be installed or loaded. The problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.<< D&R does not help. Clicking "OK" eliminates the popup this time, but next time I open -- It's BAAAACK! How can I persuade Outlook to let go of the past? Michael E.
