After playing around different ways to sort a page by the name on the top
line of the page, I have gotten nowhere. Is there an easy way to sort pages
based on the top line? I.e.,

If I enter information this way:

Doe, James Purchaild, M.D. 1885-1944 Virginia - Indiana
(information on James Doe's spouses and children)

Conkright, William Mark 1790-1840 Virginia - Virginia
(information on William Conkright's spouses and children)

Anderson, Kathryn 1910 - 1990 Ky - Ky
(information on Kathryn Anderson's spouses and children)

Brown, David 1825-1861 Christian Co, Tn - Davidson Co, Tn

That when done, the pages reorder themselves so are in the order of:
Anderson, Kathryn 1910 - 1990 Ky - Ky
Brown, David 1825-1861 Christian Co, Tn - Davidson Co, Tn
Conkright, William Mark 1790-1840 Virginia - Virginia
Doe, James Purchaild, M.D. 1885-1944 Virginia - Indiana

Easily done in Word 2000? Each page has its own table, so I could use
fields, but might problem here is I am exceeding Word's acceptable number of
fields per form, so I had planned to just use a table per page and not use a
form.

Ideas how to accomplish the auto sort? There *should* not be two people with
exactly the names, dates, and locations.

Robert
