Dian Chapman: > You apparently had some custom code files to do what you needed and it appears that they got hosed when you reinstalled Office. I would think that...if you don't have more details about the needed files so that you could find them and put them back where they belong, then you'll have to either contact the original developer who created the process for you for help or hire an outside consultant to put things back together for you.< As far as I know, there was no custom code which caused the Wizard to appear under the original installation, and to disappear after the reinstallation. Nor was there custom code which, after the reinstallation, caused the heading of an HTML table to be accepted by Access as a record, rather than as column headings. And so on. For that matter, there was no custom code (other than the *.asp which opened, manipulated, or put data from Access into HTML). I was the only one who wrote code, and all the code was VBScript in the *.asp. > There MAY be a way to help further if you had more info...but because we now have no idea what you had working before, what it did for you, what type of files they were or any other relevant info...this is like saying...my car won't run, how do I fix it...when you know nothing about auto mechanics!< I had: an HTML page with a table on it. I had: that page copied into an Excel worksheet. I had: the worksheet imported into an Access database as a named table. I had: *.asp pages which drew data from Access, manipulated it, and turned it into displayed HTML pages. Actually, there were several types of HTML pages, but the outline was the same. (See http://www.texaspowerinfo.com/CtlNmbrs/REP.asp for an example). > It's a little hard for an auto mechanic (those of us who MIGHT be able to help with info) to tell you where to even start without you knowing more about the process.< Not to be overly touchy, but what is it you think I don't know about the process I have described?
