Peg-

The mulitselect property is available in a list box only. What it does
is allow the user to select more than one item in the list at the same time.
The selection the user made is available in the list box's ItemsSelected
property.

You can use the lookup wizard to lookup the values you want to place in
the list box. Or you can write a query in the rowsource property in design
view. The BoundColumn is the column that the ItemsSelected property returns so
it is important that the boundcolumn is set to the value you are looking for.

This might sound complicated but it's quite simple, if you have any
more questions let us know.

Subject: [mso] Access: MultiSelect Questions

Would appreciate information on how to use MultiSelect in a list box. I have
read how to turn the property on, but that is as far as I can get. Questions
follow:
* Can I use it on a combo box?
* Can I use a table to "lookup" the choices?
* How do I get the selections stored in a table?

As an example an option may be available to 4th graders, another to 5th,
another to 4th and 5th. It seems it would be "cleaner" to use MultiSelect,
but I am at the edge of my understanding.
