[mso] Access 2k

Hi All
My problem today is that I am trying to make Pages in access 2k.
When I have a very simple query, eg no user input, everything works as I would
expect
and can access data via a web browser.
However when I make the criteria in the query, LIKE [Enter surname: ] & "*", it
will not
access any data but the web browser shows the empty form .
The query works OK in access
The last time I tried this a couple of weeks ago it worked OK
