The name I try to save it under is "HurtList" but I thought "Damage List" was clearer to the readers of this group. There is not a space, or period in the name, if that is what the illegal character is. The error message is cryptic- I *think* it says "Cannot save form." Hmmm, seems like I will have to make a new form perhaps with a new design and different fieldnames and then see what happens. Thanks. If you are, indeed, calling the form "Damage List.", then it will not save because the full-stop/period is an illegal character in form/query/report/table names. If you are saving without any illegal characters, then I don't know what to suggest. Error messages tend not to be very helpful at times like this, but if you could quote the error you are getting, it might be useful.
