On more than one occasion (not frequently, but more than once), I have accidentally sent an email I was not ready to send. Sometimes it is clicking the send button accidentally. Other times it is Ctrl-S inadvertently keyed (usually because my left hand doesn't get off the Ctrl key fast enough.) Here is the feature I might like an OPTION user selectable, either as the default or on a message by message basis to enable a "send safety" The "send safety" would require two actions to trigger a send instead of just one. Today, I implement the Send Safety my own way, either (a) not providing an email address to send to until I am done or (b) composing the email outside of Outlook. I have also contemplated a more "global" "Send Safety" I could implement by making my default account one that does not work, which would require that I first select a valid account and then send. I post it here because I'm curious about two things. 1. Has anyone else ever experienced the dreaded "premature sending"? and 2. What does the group think about a "send safety" as a concept? James S.
