Hi there, I am new to this list, so i hope you can all help me

I have 2 questions

QUESTION 1

I am trying to run a prediction report using 30 days data and to predict the
next 30 days (i have included a sample)

05/26/03 12:00 AM 673016
05/27/03 12:00 AM 601762
05/28/03 12:00 AM 557191
05/29/03 12:00 AM 707896
05/30/03 12:00 AM 554192
05/31/03 12:00 AM 483217
06/01/03 12:00 AM 569845
06/02/03 12:00 AM 551334
06/03/03 12:00 AM 560903
06/04/03 12:00 AM 382258
06/05/03 12:00 AM 455551
06/06/03 12:00 AM 428312
06/07/03 12:00 AM 475418
06/08/03 12:00 AM 853529
06/09/03 12:00 AM 742660

This is a example of the data, there is no connection to the day before, other
than this is the results, there is no linear path, and each line is independant,
I currently use Average of the 30days to give me the 31st day.
Is there a better function within Excel which would give a more accurate
prediction or just calculate this in a cleverer way.

and QUESTION 2

I have a list of data, which i can group manually into an "group" view - with
the plus sign to open and close the sections.
I know how to do this manually, however, I would like to automate this process.

Attached is an example of the layout of data I use:
Doll Shop Number Sold

Barbie Argos 3000
Barbie Littlewoods 1000
Barbie Tesco 100000
Barbie Total 104000
Cindy Argos 3000
Cindy Littlewoods 1000
Cindy Tesco 100000
Cindy Lidl 50
Cindy Boots 653
Cindy Total 104703
Dolls Total 208703

There may be more shops who sell barbie tomorrow.
How can i have a macro which will group anything with barbie into Barbie and
anything with Cindy into Cindy ?

All help appreciated

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.
