Hi,
I have a questionnaire with up to 12 answers that can be checked off. I have
a sheet with similar size lines that looks for the answers and brings back a
statement for that check mark. I would like the answer sheet to not have any
blank lines. Most people only check 3 or 4 of the questions. The answers are
quite long and I can get 2 on a page. I want to eliminate printing half
pages and blank pages.
The checks all get a value in sequential columns in a data storage sheet.
The answer sheet searches these columns (range) to see what answer to bring
back.
When I have found the smallest number, is there a way to then find the next
largest number in the range and so on until all the answers have been
brought back line after line without blank lines?
I have tried to get Hlookup to accept cell values as a variable to look up.
I can make it work with a bunch of "IF" statements to the ninth blank check
mark, but it then misses answers. Used min and max to get 2 answers but I
can't find what is between them.
Thanks,
Keith
