Not a shortcut that I've ever heard of...so it may be a special one for your
keyboard.

By the way, that "worm" character is called a Tilde (Til-da).

Yup, I know that one, it's my trademark!<wink>

Subject: [mso] "~" + tab key: Short cut?

Hello all. Purchased new keyboard, which is programmable. Word is behaving
slightly different. If / when I press the worm character ("~"), and also
press tab at the same time, it does a save of the document I am working in.

Question: Is this a normal Word shortcut key to do this function?

My Word book shows some short cut keys but adds at the end there are more
that the book does not mention.

Thank you.

Robert
