Marcia,
Thanks for asking. The trip down was okay, accept we ran into some ice
right around Knoxville, but we stayed there over night Tuesday and the
weather was okay the rest of the way. On Wednesday, I stopped at the
Florida Georgia line, and had a nice dinner with Mikey a friend of mine I
used to work with. That was the hi light of my day, if not the whole trip.
The weather in Florida sucked. We played Friday night, and when we got off
stage at eleven, it was a very warm 33 degrees. It wouldn't have been so
bad, but we were in our band uniforms, and they have short sleeved shirts.
The best parts of that day, were, I got to see my aunt and her husband. We
were also offered another job. It's playing for the blind international
tournament in Rochester New York. I don't know if we'll take it or not.
Unless the weather is warmer, we probably won't. We headed back Saturday
morning, and it was the nicest weather day we saw. At least until we got
into Atlanta. Then, we got another reminder about what it was going to be
like when we got back home. LOL Everything was okay weather-wise coming
home accept we had some fog in the Tennessee mountains. Now it's back to
the real freezer. Thanks again for asking. Take care and God bless you.
