Next year looks like a very dreary season. Steve, I totally agree with you.

Don't hold your breath, I think with what they're doing they won't even win
eighty games next season.
Don't know what Avilla is thinking; they gave away their second-best catalyst
on the team for a song. Yesterday, they traded Cameron Maybin to the Angels,
who have a miserable farm system, for a double-A right-handed pitcher with a
4.30 ERA last season. If that isn't a sign of things to come, I don't know
what is. I mean, you trade an every-day starter, barring his history of
injuries for one stupid pitcher who probably doesn't have a chance in Hell of
making the big leagues.
I know they really didn't want to sign the $9 million option for him, but I'd
rather have him than pay $22 million for Justin Upton who couldn't hit a thing
until the last month of the season.
Consider what Dombrowski got for trading Cespedes to the Metz for less than
half a season? Mike Fulmer who has a good shot at rookie of the year and
should be the Tigers second-best starter next year. If they keep him.
Anyway, just saying, if I had season tickets, I'd dump them. They won't go
anywhere next year; not with the Indians starting rotation and bullpen.
They did sign Frankie Rodriguez for another year at $6 million; although his
stuff isn't what it used to be.

I would rather it had been the Tigers this year! Oh well, maybe next year; but
anyway, I’m glad that the Cubs won, indeed!

Series!

Well Callie, so much for your tribe rising up. Long live the tribe. Ha ha.
Great game though no one had anything to be ashamed of. Cubs go. It felt good
to know I was in the stadium where they won the World Series this year earlier.

Well, they did it. I watched one inning I think it was the 4th. But I
tend to jinx whoever I'm rooting for, so I did turn the channel. I understand
it ran 10 innings, and there were rain delays? Wow! Well, now I'm sure our
granny did do her happy dance in heaven. Go Cubbies. Great job! The Indians
have another chance next year, as do the Tigers.
