She has an HP1006. It is no longer made. You might need to go to an office supply place like Home Depot and look at a basic printer. I'm hesitant to recommend a newer printer because I haven't played with any. The toner is a bit pricey if you get the manufacturer's new model, but you can get refurbished toner cartridges for a lot less. Laser printers are better for us blinks if you don't print a lot; some of the inkjets get clogged with ink if they're not used a lot. And, they do have a nasty habit of running out in the middle of a page.
