Peggy and Ginger, class of ’70.
Sent from my Mac.Hi Chris,
I’m glad you had a terrific birthday and yes, there is plenty of Thanksgiving
food left over lol smile. Especially turkey and pumpkin pie.
I hope they will get all of the cancer once treatment is started. I will keep
you in my prayers.
Please keep me in your prayers as well when i train with a new dog. My Ginger
can no longer work due to cataracts on both eyes and arthritis in her front
legs, so i am applying for a new dog from Leader Dogs. I am hoping for another
lab. Perhaps in mid winter or early spring for dog number 4.

I would like to thank you all for my birthday wishes. It was an enjoyable day
with friends here in Kalamazoo. I ate too much as usual and also they had a
birthday cake for me. We actually watched the Lions game and they acturlly
won!
I don’t watch NFL football but that was a nice birthday present. Once again
thank you all.
Also I hope you all don’t mind me adding to the subject line. A couple weeks
ago I was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma Non Hochkins Cancer. It’s a very
slow growing cancer on my groin area and not under the skin so it can be
treated with UV light and a topical cream. Waiting for the biopsies they took
was the worst time for me waiting to hear from them. I went to Ann Arbor U of
M skin clinic for a more extensive exam and they confirmed it. Now I’m
waiting for them to call about what and when the treatments start. They will
probably be here in Kalamazoo. Like I said I’m not concerned as the cancer is
not under the skin and they caught it in time. I’m still a little concerned
about it but prayers are appreciated. Thanks to you all for putting up with
my shenanigans and sick humor. I’ve gotten unfriended on “Faceless Book” from
some people who took me too seriously. Anyway enjoy your weekend and
remember, there’s a lot of turkey leftovers for the rest of the month. We
just went to the grocery store and the food part of Meijer was almost empty
of people. I like that.

OK Chris Rasmussen. Since your birthday is tomorrow, and since many of us
may not be checking our MSB email messages, I’m starting the thread to wish
you the happiest birthday ever. See now? You get to stuff yourself, and
blame it all on Thanksgiving, and not your birthday. But you and I both
know it will be for both. smile. So, eat, eat eat! Then try not to sleep,
sleep, sleep. smile.

May God bless you now, and evermore!
