[mountainmilers] Best winter hikes in Prescott area?

I am looking to add hiking to my cross-training regimen this winter and was
hoping you guys could help me out!
What are your favorite hikes in this area? I am willing to drive up to an hour
away, though first I'll probably check out whichever recommendations are closer.
For what it's worth, scenery I like is trees, sweeping vistas, and interesting
rock formations.
I am not a big saguaro cactus person though, so I won't drive somewhere just to
see those. (In general I prefer the vegetation we have around here versus
what's around Phoenix.)
