SAFETY. Gary from Pentecost Tours has no concerns about safety during this
Pilgrimage. We'll be away from the West Bank and Gaza areas and will follow
all local recommendations and regulations. If there is any danger we won't
go to Jericho. If the trip is canceled by Pentecost Tours everyone will
receive a full refund. Gary says it's safer than travel to many other
countries we've visited, and even through this country. As Charlie, one of
our veteran travelers puts it, I'd rather spend two weeks in Israel than
drive downtown in Cincinnati. Nothing against Cincinnati at all, that's
just where he lives.

We'll renew our Baptismal Promises at the Jordan River, where Jesus was
Baptized by John. We'll renew our marriage vows and pray for any deceased
husbands and wives at Cana in Galilee where Jesus attended a wedding with
his Mother and turned water into wine. We'll take a boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee. We'll even have a chance to visit Masada and to swim in the Dead
Sea. We'll visit the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem too, and see the Dead Sea
Scrolls. You'll never read Scripture in the same way after this wonderful
Pilgrimage! Follow the link from: www.frpat.com

"O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are
all the work of your hand." ~Isaiah 64:8

We can expect miracles of change in people's lives. We need not be held
back by unbelief. People can be changed and they are often ready and
waiting to be changed. We need never believe that human nature cannot be
changed. We can see changed people every day. Do we have the faith to make
those changes possible? Modern miracles happen every day in the lives of
people. Miracles are often in the realm of personalities. Human nature can
be changed and is always being changed. We can have enough faith so that we
can be channels for God's strength into the lives of others.

I pray that I may have the faith to expect miracles. I pray that I may be
used by God to help change the lives of others.

Maureen asks prayers for two friends who are spiritually lost. Gwen asks
prayers for her brother-in-law to have peaceful and comfort days ahead due
to cancer. John asks prayers for co-workers who are preparing for a
leadership retreat.

Pat asks prayers for sale of land. Brian requests prayers for his friend
whose husband was called home to The Lord, and for their grieving family and
friends. Pat requests prayers for the repose of the soul of someone who died
yesterday, and the souls of all the faithful departed.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!

May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!

Father Pat
