Stations of the Cross in English and Spanish illustrated by Saint Pat's
School 4th Graders. You'll find materials on Reconciliation, an Examination
of Conscience and even a Credit Card to Heaven. Lenten regulations are
there too, along with a complete schedule of Services and Activities. Be
sure to visit our ON-LINE STATIONS OF THE CROSS. I've written them for
children and adults alike. They've been newly illustrated this year by the
4th Graders at our own Saint Patrick's School and are available in English
and Spanish as well.

"Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the
door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone
who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened."

Persistence is necessary if we are to advance in spiritual things. By
persistent prayer, persistent, firm and simple trust, we can achieve the
treasures of the spirit. By persistent practice, we can eventually obtain
joy, peace, assurance, security, health, happiness and serenity.
Nothing is too great, in the spiritual realm for us to obtain, if we
persistently prepare ourselves for it.

I pray that I may persistently carry out my spiritual exercises every day. I
pray that I may strive for peace and serenity.

A mother asks prayers for a special intention. Sherry requests prayers for
all of our soldiers, especially for one who is still in the Middle East. Pat
asks prayers for peace from a long held emotional hurt. Friends of the
family ask prayers for a 19-year old who will undergo brain surgery on
Monday to remove a tumor.

Marilyn asks prayers for a special intention. Donna requests prayers for
someone who is facing the possibility of colon cancer. Elizabeth asks
prayers for her mother who is battling colon cancer and now under hospice
home care.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!

May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!

Father Pat

"Be still and know that I am God." ~Psalm 46:10
