Morning Prayer is back up and running. Subscribe/Unsubscribe information is
slightly different, but will be included in each e-mail and at the Web Site.
You can also set your account to Vacation mode. It's all done here:

No "Phishing!"

It's another scam, called Phishing. All these folks need is a bite or two
and they can become very wealthy. They send a e-mail saying somebody has
been trying to access your account or give another reason. They ask you to
log into their Web Site and give bank information, Social Security numbers,
passwords, etc. If you click on the link they send, which you SHOULDN'T do,
you'll see that you're a different Site altogether. It will look exactly
like the bank, PayPal or eBay Web Site though. If you submit the information
you've given them all the tools they'll need to steal your identity, wreck
your credit rating and steal your money. Banks, PayPal, eBay and other
groups don't use e-mail to get information from you. If you're in doubt,
call the bank or other group, or log into your account they way you normally
do. But "don't" click on that link sent by the Phishers!

God can take our efforts for good and bless them. God appreciates our
efforts. We need God's blessing. Together they mean spiritual success.
Our efforts are necessary. We cannot merely relax and drift with the tide.
We can often direct our efforts against the tide of materialism around us.
When difficulties come, our efforts are needed to surmount them. But God
can direct our efforts into the right channels and God's power is necessary
to help us choose the right.

I pray that I may choose the right. I pray that I may have God's blessing
and direction in all my efforts for good.

Bee asks prayers for her son who is going out on his own. Holly asks prayers
for a special intention. Sally asks our prayers as she has lost her husband
of fifty years. JaniceMarie asks prayers for herself and three family
members. Ann asks prayers for her colleagues and for herself.

Boris asks prayers for several intentions. Barbara asks prayers for her aunt
who is having a biopsy. Valerie ask prayers for all priests, especially
those moving to new parishes. Luvina is thankful for all blessings, and
continues to turn family situations completely over to God, also for the
grandchildren and unborn babies.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
