Hi all,
Please encourage our students to use headphones with a 3.5 mm jack (this
information is usually on the front of packaging at purchase.) The Dell
computer will not always work with the 2.5 mm headphones, which are
typically our Dollar Store headphones, and if they do work they are causing
problems for the motherboard of the computer and changing its lifespan,
i.e. frying it!
I will look into purchasing headphones here in the Media Center and will be
happy to assist you. However, chances are if your student cannot hear
their audio it is because the headphones do not meet necessary
specifications (3.5 mm jack.)
