I will look into changing my e-mail on this and other lists to my ISP's e-mail then, because seeing my own post echoed back is the only way I can be sure my post even hit the list, beyond logging into the web of the list or getting a response to my post. I don't understand google's thinking on this functionality. I'm sure they think it makes sense, but from my perspective it doesn't.

Hi,
My list settings show the echopost flag checked by default but the only
posts I receive are replies to my post, and according to how I
understand the description of the echopost flag, my posts should be
"echoed" (i.e., received by me).

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
