Vern,
Do you have an address for Debbie? I got a new shoulder this past week so
I will not be able to travel for a couple weeks, but I would like to let Deb
know we are thinking of her during this time.

Notice from Ste Genevieve Lions Club:

Lion Robert (Rabbit) McKlin passed away this past Monday evening after a long
illness.

His wake will be Monday, Feb 2, from 4-8 pm at Basler Funeral Home in Ste.
Genevieve MO. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 am at
Basler's, with burial in Crestlawn Cemetery. A reception at the Elk's Lodge in
Ste. Genevieve will immediately follow the burial service. Robert was a member
of the Lions Club for 28 years, and served as President for 2 terms. He was
awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, the highest honor a Lion can
receive, and was Past District 26-D (now 26-M1) Governor in 2005-2006.

Robert and Debbie attended many Lion Forums and district events, and toured the
Mid-South hospital facilities in Memphis as well as other activities. He was a
loyal and dedicated Lion, and it was an honor to have him as a member of our
Club.

Lion Robert served for 40 years in law enforcement and was the Ste. Genevieve
County Sheriff for 12.5 years.
Lion Robert enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He will be missed by
everyone who knew him for his genuine care and concern for people in all walks
of life.

The Ste. Genevieve Club members will meet at 6 pm Monday evening in the lobby
to pay our final respects. Please wear your Lion vests.

Lion Secretary Jan

We will miss him...
PDG Lion Vern
