Dave Hi,
Thanks for the reply i am in South Oxfordshire.

I would like either 1/8" or 1/4" but a little larger would not matter,I can
either gas weld or Tig what i want to repair.

How much does small amounts cost these days?

When i used to live near Birmingham i could get almost anything either through
Land Rover when i was an apprentice through their buying office or from brum or
the black country, alas most of the industry and suppliers now gone!!!

I can get hold of most of the unusall materials ie:magnesium, titanium, and all
the common used steels and aluminium, but with racing cars we dont use cast iron
anywhere.

speak to you again.
