Harry,

I'd have thought it would be BSB. Whitworth thread form is with rounded
crests and roots according to my Mechanical Engineers' Handbook.

I'm not sure what you used for a degree symbol, I use Alt 0186 which gives º
(that was a degree symbol in the composition here, but I wonder how it will
come out).

Thanks Tel, John, IDP, etc. My next question is, considering it's a
Bantam Cock and assuming it was made to the "words & music", which of these
two threads is it likely to be, and do both of them have rounded crest &=
 root?
I'll probably single-point the thread on this adapter and in that
application the whether it's 55=B0 or 60=B0 thread form is incidental, but
rounded crest & root vs. angled thread does definitely make a difference.
BTW, after the 55 and 60 above I placed a "degree" symbol (a small
circle) and I was just curious to know if that is what actually appears.

Regards,
Harry
