Now I don't want to alarm you guys, but we seem to have entered some weird time warp. As some of you know, recently I purchased a battered old warhorse, 'bout twice the size of the Myford, and have been pottering with it to get it set up to my liking. Now a little while back I built a three way toolpost for the ML7 and it has worked very well, so on Friday I started to cut metal to make a larger one for the 'beast'. Tonight, after shapering up the two triangular plates I decided, as a matter of interest, to check the original - has to 'ave been there 5 or 6 years, thinks I - wrong again, the date stamp sez 5/11/'88 - 16 years to the day. In a similar vein, not long back the subject of box tools came up amongst a small group of us & I nipped down to photograph the one I made a couple of years back. Oh yeah? Try 10 1/2 years. So what is happening to all this time? Where is it going? How do we get it back? MODEL ENGINEERING DISCUSSION LIST.
