Am I correct in thinking that it is NOT Steam powered?

Al,
You is right! The locomotive is a 12 volt DC machine. I thought at first
that since it was a Hershel, that it was coal fired, but that drive system
w/torque converter belies that. At least it does not have a B&S gas engine
rattling away inside of it.
