Bryan the os is different from the firmware right???
I'm asking about the firmware, does that need to be updated as well.

I'm not trying to be a pain, I'm just trying to learn.

Hey, James, I tried to explain that to you yesterday. You recorded me when I
went over it the second time. If you're still not sure about what to do, there
is a readme file in the archive that has the new OS. I posted the link on the
list this morning for where to get it.

So, follow that link, download that file, read the "read me" file, and follow
the directions. Once you're finished, you will need someone sighted to look at
the screen to be sure that the new version took. Instructions for how to get
the Motif to show the current version are in that readme file, also.

If you need me to walk you through it, step by step, then please call the
support number.

  Bryan

How do you update the firmware???

Clarence how do I know if the update went through????

To reset the board, do you hold down the buttons at the sametime? or press
one at a time??
On the es you have to hold them down together.

I would think that the unit will reset its self, don't quote me on that
though. They do advise that you save/backup any settings before updating
your firmware.
