  LOL, no prob my dood, we all here to help and learn...just figured I'd save 
the poor man a few hours of confusition, troubleshooting, and perhaps rewiring, 
thinking that his cables were all messed up when it was in fact the settings... 
lol.

    Wait, you press incease to go to usb, as it is the second option, and 
decrease to go to midi, as it is the first, if you have mlan, it would be the 
third.  This is in regards to the Motif ES...

    2.  Press the F5 button  

    3.  press the sf4 button  

    4.  already on midi, press decrease to change to USB/increase to change 
back to midi 

    5.  Press Store button to save settings
