Missbirders,

Both Scarlet and Summer Tanagers were at Rowan Oak this morning along with
Yellow-throated Warbler.

In addition, I recorded a towhee with a very dry, rapid terminal trill in
its song. This song (attached) sounds very suspicious to me so I'm only
calling it Pipilo sp. for now. I'm not sure it's outside the range of
variation of EATO, but comment from birders with broader geographic
experience with towhees than I have would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I
could not find the bird in the brush for a visual ID.

Good birding,

JR
